The Plaintiff’s First Amended Complaint alleges breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and conversion claims arising out of a roofing project in Hawaii. Plaintiff is an Ohio corporation that supplies roofing materials to construction projects. Defendants Beachside Roofing, L.L.C. (“Beachside”) and A-1 Master Roofing, Inc. (“A-1”) are both located in Hawaii. Both are authorized Soprema roofing contractors per written agreements with Soprema.

Under these agreements, Soprema inspected and approved the installation work performed by A-1 and Beachside. Upon the completion of construction, Queens’ Market LLC (“Queens’ Market“) experienced catastrophic leaks on ten of its buildings. In response to Plaintiff’s complaint, Defendants Beachside and A-1 filed a Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Personal Jurisdiction and a Motion to Transfer Venue (ECF# 5 and ECF# 13). The Court denied both Motions. This matter is currently awaiting a trial date.
